唐僧，法号玄奘，号三藏，为如来佛祖座下二弟子金蝉长老投胎。在西行之路白虎岭，因受白骨精圈套迷惑，误会孙悟空滥杀无辜，将其逐出师门。白骨精趁虚而入，掳走唐僧。悟空闻讯前往营救，彻底击溃白骨精，师徒冰释前嫌，重新上路。历经九九八十一难，修成正果，被赐封为旃檀功德佛。

His Buddhist name is Xuanzang, and is known as Sanzang. He is the reborn of elder Jinchan, the second disciple of Buddha. On the journey to the west, he tamed three disciples successively: Sun WuKong（the Monkey King）, Zhu WuNeng, and Sha Wujing. Then, with the help from the three disciples and the white dragon horse, Tang experienced lots of adventures and hardship. They finally reached the Western Paradise and obtained the real Buddhist sculptures. As Tang has completed his mission, he was given a big promotion, and was granted as one of the buddha. He is wearing the Kam Lan Cassock, and carrying the nine ring Khakkhara, which was given by the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy.
